One of the main goals of this gut renovation was to create more room for this young family, particularly at the third floor. By extending the mansard roof over the second level, we created a full primary suite and reorganized the space to incorporate a small office, making creative use of glass walls to enclose the space but allow for the passage of natural light from the skylights.

At the first level, we enlarged the main entry to create a spacious mudroom with ample floor-to-ceiling closet and storage space. We extended the stair from the first level to access all three floors of the home and eliminated a second stairwell at the kitchen, allowing us to expand the kitchen’s footprint. Creative storage was designed through out the space, and all floors received updated finishes.
