Built around 1928, this Georgian revival was originally designed by Hugh Shepley of Shepley, Bullfinch, and Abbott. It has gone through a number of renovations over the years, as it was modernized, divided, opened up, and stylized. This renovation sought to enhance the vintage details that remain and recapture the spirit of the original construction, while reconfiguring uses and creating connections across the spaces to meet the needs of the new owner. Much of the work focused on a new main bedroom suite, a relocated kitchen that engages the living and dining areas, and an informal “live-in pantry” off the kitchen that acts as a hub to the home and functions as an extension of the kitchen and an additional space to entertain or work.
