SKA was commissioned to design this weekend retreat with the intention that, eventually, this home would be converted into a full-time retirement home for our clients. The intent of the design was to create a single gable structure that could support added wings in the future. The clients have a background in Marine Biology, and the double height covered deck was designed to feel like you are out on the bow of a ship.
