The goal with this project was to redesign the kitchen to establish an entertaining space with better flow and more room for guests, while creating a better connection to the back yard. The clients also wanted to bring in more natural light. By turning the island and utilizing custom cabinetry, we were able to open up the floorpan while still providing more storage than they previously had. The dining area can now be reconfigured to allow for more guests during the holidays, as well, and light floods the space and is warmed by the blue island and brass hardware.
